From Campaign** to Champagne: How to Create and Launch a Campaign Worth Celebrating!
Great campaigns don’t happen by accident. They’re built through smart discovery, clear messaging, compelling creative, thoughtful testing, and strategic implementation.
Join Christine Weeks, Founder & CEO, and Sean Flattery, Creative Director, of Eleanor Creative, for a behind-the-scenes look at Eleanor’s campaign process. From identifying the real problem to launching work that gets results, Christine and Sean will share practical strategies that marketers can use to build Campaigns Worth Celebrating!
What You’ll Learn:
Take a campaign from its pain points to celebratory solutions. Christine and Sean will walk through Eleanor Creative’s six-step campaign process:
Discover → Message → Concept → Test → Implement → Launch
Along the way, you’ll learn how to uncover the problem behind the problem, turn strategy into messaging, develop creative concepts that connect with real audiences, test ideas before investing heavily, and build a launch strategy designed to drive action.
Campaign Case Study: City of Lincoln — Next Stop
The Challenge: StarTran needed 22 bus operators—and needed them fast.
Routes were being reduced, existing operators were working significant overtime, and the City of Lincoln was spending more just to maintain basic service. With only one month and a small advertising budget, Eleanor Creative had to turn a difficult recruitment challenge into a campaign that could move people to action.
The Strategy: Instead of simply advertising open positions, we marketed the life and opportunity behind the job. Real employees, human photography, targeted digital advertising, and benefit-driven messaging transformed a job opening into a meaningful career opportunity.
The campaign centered on messages including “A Career that Takes You Places” and “An Office With a View,” while highlighting the benefits, diversity, stability, and purpose of working for StarTran.
It’s a case study in what can happen when the right message, audience, creative, media strategy, and moment come together.
Campaign Case Study: Dorothy Lynch
How do you make a beloved, established Nebraska brand feel fresh without losing what generations of customers already love about it?
Christine and Sean will share how Eleanor Creative approached the Dorothy Lynch brand refresh and campaign—balancing brand equity with new creative energy. Attendees will see how research, strategy, messaging, photography, creative concepts, and implementation can work together to introduce an established brand to new audiences while remaining unmistakably Dorothy Lynch.
The goal isn’t simply more impressions. It’s helping the right people find the right information, understand why it matters to them, and feel confident taking the next step.
Put the Process to Work: Campaign Challenge
Then, it’s your turn.
Attendees will work together to tackle a real-world marketing challenge using the same discovery and messaging process Eleanor Creative uses with its clients.
You’ll dig into the pain point, audience, barriers, motivations, and desired action to uncover the problem behind the problem. From there, you’ll turn those insights into a clear campaign strategy and begin developing messaging designed to connect with the audience and move them to action.
It’s an opportunity to move beyond hearing about the process and actually put it to work, leaving with a framework you can take back and use for your own organization’s next campaign.
The Big Takeaway
A beautiful campaign isn’t necessarily a successful campaign.
Successful campaigns start with a clearly defined problem, are built around a specific audience, communicate one compelling idea, and give people a clear reason to act.
Strategy gives creativity a job to do.
Creative gets people to pay attention.
Implementation turns attention into action.
And results? Those are worth popping the champagne. 🥂
