Where do you work?

I’m a marketing manager at the Downtown Lincoln Association and in my third year on the AMA Lincoln board.

What do you do in your free time?

I love playing cards and board games. In the summer, yard games are a close second.

What professional achievement are you most proud of?

Branding BikeLNK was a lot of fun, but I’m also very proud of the work the DLA staff and I did for downtown businesses during COVID-19, like curbside pickup, the mask and movie quotes posters, positive messages on street banners, etc.

What personal achievement are you most proud of?

I’m proud of my artwork! Whenever I finish a painting or develop a beautiful photograph, it feels really motivating.

You can snap your fingers and instantly learn any skill. What is it?

Piloting an airplane. Wouldn’t that be cool?

What’s your favorite TV show or movie?

I gotta say Game of Thrones. And I’ll die on that hill. I have great memories of traveling to other cities just to watch a new episode with close friends. Perhaps a few episodes were disappointing, but it brought us together nonetheless. I’m also convinced it helped me get my job at DLA considering it being one of the main topics of discussion in my interview. As far as movies go, I was really thrilled with Interstellar.

You’re out for drinks with friends. What are you ordering?

Easy, a Jägerbomb please! Followed by an Old Fashioned.

What advice do you have for younger professionals in the area?

Be active, never be afraid to try new things and never lose that passion to learn!

What’s your favorite part of Lincoln and why?

The community. It’s filled with some of the kindest, most genuine people out there.
