Social Media Specialist – Proceed Finance

The Social Media Specialist is responsible for overseeing the social media accounts for Proceed Finance. This position will be instrumental in developing and implementing Proceed Finance’s social media and digital marketing strategy to promote the company’s brand, attract visitors and generate potential leads.



  • Oversee digital marketing projects including but not limited to paid and organic social media campaigns, website content, research, analytics, and reporting
  • Design and implement social media strategy and web content to align with business goals
  • Create content and engage with communities across various digital platforms
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure brand consistency
  • Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews
  • Manage a social marketing and web content calendar
  • Coordinate with other marketing team members to ensure active promotions and campaigns are represented on the correct platform(s)
  • Monitor key metrics and analyze follower expectations according to past social media and website activity
  • Research/track trends across digital marketing platforms
  • Organize and track project milestones, accomplishments, and risks
  • Perform other related duties as assigned


Education and Experience:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing Journalism, Business, Communications, or related field.
  • At least two years of related experience preferred

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Leadership skills with a proven ability to facilitate with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to use social media for impressions and brand awareness
  • Ability to analyze and interpret trends
  • Extensive knowledge of social media platforms including Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, etc.
  • Strong understanding of user experience best practices
  • Ability to leverage digital and social media KPIs, web traffic metrics, and SEO to make strategic recommendations
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software



Work Environment:

  • Work is performed in a standard office setting
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet


Physical Demands:

  • Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds occasionally
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer


Hours of Work:

  • A minimum of 40 hours per week
