We’re Looking for a Creative Director to Join Our Team!


Agency 877 is driven to create thoughtful, out-of-the-box and strategic design that executes our client’s vision. We’re searching for an experienced creative director to guide our team creatively as well as develop captivating concepts for print, digital, and beyond. This person should be able to interface and present to clients, manage people well, inspire and be inspired by others, and strive to take our creative efforts to the next level.


Objectives of this Role


  • Oversee internal and external creative team members and establish standards for production, productivity, quality, and client service
  • Lead our team in creating and implementing marketing campaigns, aligning team priorities with client business objectives to deliver high-quality work on time and on budget
  • Develop presentation approaches, styles, and techniques for the team to implement
  • Ensure team adheres to current creative procedures, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and proposing and creating processes and tools to support design operations
  • Understand market trends, consumer needs, competitive landscapes, and how to develop campaigns that perform



Job Responsibilities


  • Work with creative team to establish and maintain a unified brand understanding for each client
  • Conceptualize campaign vision, harnessing original graphics, copy, content websites, social media, and other marketing materials
  • Develop creative briefs based on ideas established in brainstorming sessions with direction, schedules, and expected deliverables for the creative team
  • Provide feedback and suggested changes to layouts, storyboards and illustrations, etc.
  • Approve the production team’s concepts
  • Present or oversee presentation of final concepts and coordinate production for cross-organizational use
  • Continuously look for opportunities to grow your abilities through professional education
  • Keep up to date on advertising and design trends in order to use them in future agency work



Skills and Qualifications


  • Degree in fine art, graphic design, or a similar discipline
  • 10+ years of design experience
  • 5+ years of agency experience
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Photography and/or videography knowledge and experience
  • Attention to detail
  • Exceptional capability with typography, layout, and concepting
  • Proven track record of creating exceptional brands and brand materials
  • Highly skilled in leading a team of creative talent
  • Possess a strong creative vision that plays a role in executing client objectives
  • Ability to multitask and handle multiple projects at once and efficiently
  • Existing knowledge and comprehension of media and where and how people interact with it, (while shopping, at home, out of home, print, broadcast, event, experiential, etc.)
  • Willing to mentor and grow less experienced team members
  • Ability to work full-time, in-person in Lincoln, NE
