SUMMARY:Prism Awards 101: Keys to a Winning Entry
DESCRIPTION:Free Workshop with Past Prism Winners\n\n\nThis is a hybrid event. You will receive the Zoom link in your registration confirmation email. \nPrism Awards submission entries open soon and you know what that means: time to start rallying the teams to get your best and brightest work ready to shine. Over the last two years\, we’ve updated our process to help make submissions easier — but we know you might still have questions. In this workshop\, three AMA Lincoln board members (who have all put together winning Prism entries in the past) will walk through what it takes to assemble a winning submission. \nYou’ll learn: \n\nGetting started- what info you need\, and when\nPutting together a winning entry; what separates Prisms from Sterlings\nWhat’s next?\n\n  \nSpeakers \nMandy Peterson is an entrepreneur and freelance graphic designer. She has worked both independently and contracted with local agencies to support client needs and to share their stories. Through her local connections she was introduced to the AMA Lincoln chapter in the beginning of 2020 and jumped right in to serve on the board with our programming team. She has been intertwined with programming ever since\, helping plan our live graphic design competition\, Cropped\, and celebrating our stellar local marketing talent at the Prism Awards ceremony each May! Mandy is currently president-elect of AMA Lincoln. \nBri Prai is the immediate past president of AMA Lincoln. She’s been on the board for 5 years and was a chapter volunteer before that. Prior to serving as president\, Bri was one of the Prism Awards event coordinators — which means she knows every single detail about Prisms! Bri’s day job is at UBT as a digital marketing coordinator where she uses her love of social media & all things digital marketing to help showcase how great UBT and their employees are. \nWhitney Hansen is a former president of AMA Lincoln and has written over 30 Prism award entries in her career in marketing. Whitney’s been on the AMA Lincoln board for 5+ years and helped revamp the Prisms submission process while she was President. Whitney is a senior account manager with Swanson Russell working on the outdoor recreation team. Whitney’s passionate about helping brands make a real connection with their customers — and loves that Prism Awards celebrate that strategy and execution!
