You will leave with a great start on a plan you can adapt for any brand\, business\, non-profit or organization.\nWho is this training for? This training is for anyone who has direct responsibility for managing social media networks while creating content and measuring success. From intern to exec\, this training will create focus in your social strategy and help you work smarter\, not harder.\nTyler A. Thomas is an award-winning digital communicator who builds brand engagement for the “Big Red” brand at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. In his role at the university\, Tyler is part of the institution’s communications senior leadership team directing the university’s strategic communication functions including social media\, videography\, photography\, project management and graphic design to deliver an effective digital communication strategy and editorial plan. Tyler’s work has been internationally recognized with awards from the AMA\, AAF\, PRSA and CASE. \nTyler is an international presenter\, invited speaker and writer on integrated digital content strategy and recently completed his second year as Chair of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education’s (CASE) North America social media conference.\nTyler holds a master’s degree in higher education administration\, bachelor’s degree in advertising\, and an executive certificate in leadership from the University of Nebraska. Over her 15 years of experience\, Katherine has worked at some of Lincoln’s most notable agencies providing her the opportunity to work directly with small businesses\, nonprofits\, large business-to-business and consumer brands. In 2007\, Katherine received the Lincoln AMA’s Dorothy B. Clark Award\, served as President in 2009 and afterwards was selected to join the national AMA Professional Chapters Council where she helped mentor marketing leaders around the country. In 2019\, she was named Marketer of the Year and was recently nominated for an Inspire Lincoln award. Katherine began teaching yoga and meditation in 2007\, and is the founder of PLAY\, a free outdoor yoga event that is held every September. This year marks PLAY’s 8th season\, having grown from a small grant-funded operation to an official Lincoln Parks and Recreation program sponsored by the Community Health Endowment.
