AMA Lincoln’s Round Tables (formerly known as Special Interest Groups or SIGs) are communities of AMA members and non-members who meet to discuss a common interest area, offering the opportunity for ongoing interaction among professionals regarding a certain topic. Roundtables are for those interested in sharing ideas, knowledge and experiences with others in the field.
Currently the Lincoln AMA offers the following Round Tables:
Sales Round Table
The Sales Round Table is a discussion-based meeting for individuals seeking to further their knowledge base for a variety of topics around the sales marketing industry. These meetings are held quarterly by local leaders in the sales industry. If you’re ready to learn, discuss and share best practices in sales, this event is for you!
JavaTalk Nonprofit Round Table
JavaTalk offers an opportunity to exchange ideas and knowledge within the community of those interested in Non-Profit Marketing. JavaTalk meets monthly (the second Friday of the month – unless there is a holiday). Topics range from discussion of current publications to developing your next direct mail appeal.
Marketing Book Club
Marketing Book Club is a quarterly gathering to discuss marketing related literature. This informal group meets to discuss content for pre-selected books. Book selections will be shared as soon as they are available.
Social Media Round Table
The Social Media Round Table is designed for an open discussion, covering all aspects of social media. This Round Table offers the opportunity to exchange ideas and knowledge with other professionals who realize the power of social media on all platforms. The group will help you gain a better understanding of platforms and techniques you may know about, but aren’t yet sure how to implement. Let’s talk, spark ideas, and work through implementation details as a group. We grow better together!
