Sales & Growth Lead – True North Technologies

This role is for someone who loves sales but is also ready for more. There’s a clear path into leadership here for the right person.


What You’ll Be Doing

Own the Sales Process

  • Manage the full sales cycle from first conversation to signed agreement
  • Lead discovery calls that uncover real business challenges
  • Recommend and present the right mix of services: websites, apps, SEO, digital ads, branding
  • Follow up consistently and keep opportunities moving forward

Build & Manage Your Pipeline

  • Prospect through networking, referrals, outreach, and local relationships
  • Stay on top of inbound leads and opportunities in our CRM
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and active pipeline

Help Drive Growth

  • Bring ideas to improve how we sell, position, and close
  • Identify patterns in what’s working and where we can improve
  • Collaborate with our internal team to ensure strong client onboarding and long-term success

Step Into Leadership Over Time

  • Set the tone for how we communicate, follow up, and serve clients
  • Support onboarding and mentorship of future sales team members
  • Play a role in shaping our sales process as we grow

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in sales (services, marketing, or tech is a big plus)
  • Strong communicator who can build trust quickly and lead conversations with confidence
  • Self-motivated and accountable… you don’t wait to be told what to do
  • Organized, responsive, and consistent with follow-through
  • Someone who naturally takes ownership and looks for ways to improve things

Leadership Potential

  • You lead by example, even without a title
  • People tend to trust you and look to you for direction
  • You care about more than just your own deals
  • You have interest in mentoring, improving processes, and helping a team grow

Bonus points if:

  • You’ve worked in an agency or digital marketing environment
  • You’re comfortable using a CRM and managing a pipeline
  • You enjoy networking and building relationships in the community
