We’re searching for an experienced marketing strategist that has a knack for assessing client needs and developing trackable, research-based marketing plans (social, email, pay-per-click, etc). This person should have keen verbal and written communication skills, an ability to forecast market trends and the creativity to take on data-driven projects in an out-of-the-box way.

Objectives of this Role

  • Develop strategic plans that benefit the client
  • Assess client needs through well-thought-out research and problem-solving skills
  • Monitor the performance and effectiveness of agency-prescribed tactics by establishing and monitoring key metrics
  • Deliver valuable solutions that align with both the client and 877’s organizational values

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Facilitate client onboarding and perform project brief meetings with clients
  • Conduct market research to discover valuable insights that will direct strategy
  • Combine team-generated information, customer input and individual research to develop customized, comprehensive (social, email, pay-per-click, etc) marketing strategies to position our clients for future success
  • Provide rationale necessary to support your strategies
  • Work with creative lead to dictate direction of content for campaigns, social media, pay-per-click, print materials, websites and other internal and external communications
  • Meet with client partners regularly to reassess and revise strategies or tactics

 

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, advertising and public relations, or an equivalent combination of education
  • Minimum of four years experience successfully performing account strategy or service within an agency or similar experience
  • High level of commitment to customers and an ability to work well with clients and team members
  • Sound decision-making skills
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills
  • Strong leadership skills and a desire to get feedback from team members
  • Ability to balance multiple projects at once
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in person

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge in market trends and new media
  • Background in developing pay-per-click and social media strategy and budgeting
