Marketing Manager – Union Bank & Trust

Position Summary: 

The Marketing Manager supports the bank’s marketing team members by coordinating marketing initiatives, communications and events for deposit, loan and wealth management initiatives that positively impact the customer experience, generate revenue or increase customer relationship growth. Responsibilities include building relationships, project management, strategy & creative brief writing, event coordination, media communication, proposal preparation and monitoring campaigns & deliverables.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Coordinates marketing, advertising, and communications projects for any assigned initiatives and campaigns through a complete range of marketing mediums that include print and broadcast advertising, direct mail, email, social media, digital, promotions, special events, merchandising, newsletters, video and other presentations.
  • Acts as traffic manager using the Asana project management tool. Negotiates deadlines and prioritizes projects in collaboration with the creative team.
  • Documents marketing strategy and project direction in the form of marketing plans and project briefs.
  • Provides guidance to the creative team as needed. Reviews creative deliverables for accuracy of copy, graphics, disclosures and other product features.
  • Work closely with department managers and other internal partners to better understand targeting customer/client needs and business goals, and develop appropriate strategies, tactics and budgets.
  • Provides guidance and direction to the insights & customer experience team as needed.
  • Reviews campaign reporting and provides trends and summaries for internal partners.
  • Coordinates projects with a variety of external suppliers including advertising agency, graphic designers, presentation production companies, and promotion item suppliers.
  • Supports the bank’s commitment to the community through service on various bank committees and community involvement.
  • Understand and adhere to all bank policies, laws and regulations applicable to their role. Complete compliance training; follow internal processes and controls as required.
  • Report all compliance issues, violations of law or regulations in accordance with the steps defined in bank policies.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.
  • Perform other job related duties or special projects as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business Administration, or Advertising.
  • Three+ years marketing, advertising, direct marketing, project management and communications experience with demonstrated marketing implementation skills.
  • Demonstrated project management and coordination skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
  • Valid Nebraska driver’s license.

Working Environment:

Sedentary work – occasionally lifting and/or carrying up to 25 lbs.

Indoor work – not exposed to outdoor elements or hazards.

Some Travel required.

This is role is eligible for hybrid work from home opportunity under the work from home guidelines upon completion of onboarding.
