Marketing Intern – Commercial Investment Properties

CIP is looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated Marketing Intern to join our amazing team of Marketing professionals in our Lincoln, NE office. This paid internship is part-time offering 15-25 hours per week and can extend through the end of your academic program.

We are dedicated to helping you learn and get hands-on involvement that merges what you learn in the classroom with real life experience. You will work alongside several members of the marketing team, getting exposure to multiple areas of marketing that will be foundational to your future professional career. As a Marketing Intern, you will assist the Marketing team in supporting day-to-day turnaround of work as well as key strategic initiatives to grow the business. You will have the opportunity for increased responsibility to oversee special projects.

CIP is a family-owned property development and management company based in Lincoln, Nebraska. CIP manages over 38 apartment communities – with over 6,500 units – in Nebraska, Iowa, and Minnesota. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist with the development, production, and execution of various marketing projects
  • Update websites and other digital content (no programming required)
  • Assist with social media, communications, and online reputation
  • Event coordination and project management

What you need for success:

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate associate or bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, graphic design, or similar field preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication and attention to detail
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in your career
  • Bonus skills: experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)
