Supports the Association’s marketing and communication efforts by designing for print, digital and social projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Plays a key role in the visual brand and layout of all YMCA Lincoln association marketing materials while adhering to Y-USA brand standards.
Collaborates closely with branch departments to encourage and synchronize overall branding and messaging, and reviews and approves branch-specific designs outside of provided templates.
Collects and maintains Y stories. Implements into marketing materials as appropriate.
Continually monitors graphic integrity, consistency, and style of marketing pieces. Assists the Chief Marketing Officer with regular internal audits and takes appropriate action to correct improper use of the YMCA logo and branding standards as needed.
Assists with special events (promotion, photography, video, etc.).
Manages Association photography and videography, including editing.
Maintains flexibility as workloads change throughout the department and performs special projects and other duties as assigned to support the ongoing success of the YMCA as a whole.
Assists in social media and email campaigns as assigned.

Ability to perform multiple tasks and handle multiple projects at one time.
Ability to work with all levels of YMCA staff, volunteers and vendors and establish effective working relationships.
Ability to manage and meet tight deadlines, achieving appropriate turnaround times.
Possesses a strong understanding of the YMCA and its purpose, mission and values. Demonstrates this understanding through behavior and actions that support the purpose, mission and values.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Communications, Marketing or related field preferred.
Two or more years of experience with graphic design in a professional setting preferred.
Must have advanced skills in all Adobe Creative Cloud software with an emphasis in InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
Photography, videography and video editing skills are preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
Ability to perform sedentary physical activity that may include lifting and/or moving up to 25 lbs. and fingering (typing).
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
