Position Title: Director, Marketing and Public Relations – Full Time (FT)

Department: Marketing
Reports to: West View Medical Building Administrator

 

 

Nature of Work

This full time leadership position will be responsible for all organizational marketing and public relations initiatives and strategies for York General. What You Will Do

  • Develop, recommend, and implement an overall marketing and public relations plan for York General.  Work with Leaders across the organization to recommend marketing and public relations strategies and initiatives relevant to their specific areas.
  • Measures and analyzes campaign results to determine ROI.
  • Plans communication, awareness and relationship building designed to appeal to our healthcare consumers, lead them through their journey, and keep them engaged with the York General system.
  • Plan, design and review the various marketing communications utilized in the organization; including newspaper, radio, billboards, fliers, postcards, and CareLink, preparing effective advertising campaigns based on market research.
  • Analyze and refine target market information to identify and recommend effective marketing approaches.
  • Create and implement digital marketing content, focusing on creating interaction with our target markets.
  • Work with the CEO and Foundation Committee on marketing and public relations activities related to the Foundation.
 
 

What You Need

  • The incumbent must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing and long-range planning. Additionally, an understanding of marketing strategies and practices is essential.
  • Excellent networking and interpersonal skills ensuring public relations are fostered.
  • A broad knowledge and ability to utilize graphic design software and social media capabilities is also essential.
  • Baccalaureate degree in Marketing or related field required.
