Position Summary

The Digital Content Associate supports the Marketing & Digital Media Coordinator on web and digital content creation projects within the Office of External Relations. Primary responsibilities include assisting in the implementation of new webpages, websites and web content across Nebraska.edu and performing ongoing content updates and maintenance on existing Nebraska.edu websites and webpages. The Digital Content Specialist will also provide the External Relations marketing branding and digital media division with support for project management, digital asset management, and with non-web digital media projects, as needed. 

 

Qualifications & Attributes

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • One (1) year of professional experience in marketing or digital media
  • Demonstrated experience with web and/or digital content management
  • Demonstrated experience in project management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Educational coursework in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or Public Relations
  • Experience using HTML coding for web page content updates
  • Experience with Google Analytics to pull reports on web traffic
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud
