Design Marketing Specialist – Farmers Mutual of Nebraska

Looking to join a growing organization and develop impactful marketing communications? Farmers Mutual of Nebraska is looking for a talented Design Marketing Specialist that understands the versatility of graphic design across multiple platforms. The individual in this role will be a key member of the Communications and Marketing team, working to bring messaging to life through creative for print, web, video, and more.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Strategize, create, and manage high-quality, original content
• Assumes responsibility for the concept and development of all company marketing design needs including but not limited to company-branded marketing, corporate communications, and creative deliverables for sponsorships, media buys, trade associations, etc.
• Completes videography and digital animation projects from start to finish including storyboarding, filming, editing, rough cuts, gathering feedback, and making final audio or color corrections as needed for final export
• Maintains self-motivation and commitment to building and maintaining a cataloged collection of original photo and video content for the brand
• Delivers consistent, high-quality video products
• Ability to use independent discretion and judgment to produce content and design that promotes the company and increases brand awareness through use of advanced graphic design techniques
• Continually monitors graphic integrity, consistency, and style of marketing pieces. Assists with regular internal audits and takes appropriate action to correct improper use of the company logo and brand standards
• Must be committed to high creativity and willingness to look for new solutions to achieve company goals
• Maintain professional standards on information conveyed through media distribution
• Collaborate with marketing team to repurpose and promote content
• Receive and carry out instructions
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance
• Receive and protect confidential information
• Maintains detailed and organized filing structures in adherence with Communications and Marketing Department guidelines on all assigned projects
• Assist team with other duties and special projects as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, communications, journalism, English, fine arts or other relevant field of study or equivalency
• Four years of experience working in a marketing capacity
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, oral/written communications, and relationship-building skills

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience designing creative for multiple audiences
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Create Suite
• Experience with videography equipment and editing software
• Experience working on corporate marketing and/or advertising agency teams
• Familiarity with the insurance industry

Other Details:
• This is a full-time position (40 hours/week)
• Position is located at the Home Office in Lincoln, Nebraska
• Salary commensurate with experience
