Creative Media Strategist – Nebraska Governance and Technology Center (Nebraska Law)
The Creative Media Strategist at the Nebraska Governance and Technology Center will support content created as output of innovative research in the forms of podcasts, video, and others, specifically including the center’s podcast Tech Refactored, and management of existing projects.
The position will support the executive director and director in showcasing the center’s mission and goals, as well as helping to develop new and creative ideas for reaching stakeholders.
This position is responsible for managing or performing the technical aspects of audio and visual recording, editing, producing, and includes oversight of specialty contractors brought in to support the center’s research mission. This position is responsible for the strategic positioning and creative representation of the center’s research portfolio. Content will also include some general communication (social media, website, and newsletters) and marketing pieces, which requires direct coordination with the college’s Director of Marketing, who will provide oversight and approval for branding guidelines.
This role requires an organized and detail-oriented individual that is comfortable working in a dynamic environment with a hybrid-team (remote and in-person). This individual should also have a deep interest in the Center’s subject matter, along with their technical skills.
