Tourism Marketing: Leading Travelers to Nebraska’s Hidden Gems

Erin found her niche in the marketing field in experiential marketing. During the last 8 years, she has developed innovative experiential marketing programs for the University of Nebraska and Nebraska Tourism. Through developing unconventional ways to overcome marketing challenges, Erin’s work has impacted the fields of health and wellness marketing and tourism marketing.

During this presentation, Erin will discuss her current program, the Nebraska Passport, a travel program that has fascinated both Nebraskans and out-of-state travelers. This unique program has greatly impacted Nebraska’s economy by driving traffic to Nebraska’s lesser known tourism destinations.

About Erin:
Erin has worked in program development and marketing for Nebraska Tourism, the University of Nebraska, Gateway Mall, and Fiserv. She was named one of "Lincoln's 20 Under 40: Young Professionals Making a Difference" due to her professional achievements and community involvement. Erin has held leadership positions in several non-profit organizations that work to improve the lives of Nebraskans, including serving on the Lincoln AMA board. She has won 14 awards for excellence in marketing and public relations from the American Marketing Association and the Public Relations Society of America.
