Molly Nance is Marketer of the Month for AMA’s Lincoln Chapter.
Nance is director of strategic planning and marketing at Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital in Lincoln, a position she’s held since February 2007.
She is responsible for directing and developing the strategic marketing planning for the hospital to achieve its corporate goals. Supervising a staff of four, she is responsible for marketing all Madonna business lines: the rehabilitation hospital, long-term care, outpatient, foundation, research institute, a fitness facility and spa. She works with internal staff and an ad agency to develop and place regional advertising. She manages the annual Goal Awards event, which includes video production featuring Madonna patients. She implements and oversees corporate communication standards, and she manages the corporate Web site.
Recently, she helped produce a documentary feature film about four young people recovering from brain injury, which resulted in a $1.2 million donation from the Git-R-Done Foundation to develop an expanded pediatric unit, which opened in July.
Originally from Omaha, Nance served as senior director of communication and education for the Nebraska Hospital Association for five years prior to her employment with Madonna.
She holds a Master of Liberal Arts degree from Baker University in Overland Park, Kan., and a Bachelor of Journalism degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She also holds the designation as a Professional Certified Marketer.
