Content Marketing Director - NRC Health (posted 5/16)

Position Description:
As Content Marketing Director, you will execute a comprehensive, strategic content plan against NRC business objectives. You will be an expert in content and channel optimization building prospect and client relationships through targeted marketing initiatives. With an eye on brand consistency, you will guide thought leadership content for our organization.

Your Day to Day:
 Steward the look, message, and positioning for the NRC Health brand
 Develop and deliver content marketing strategy, in close collaboration with the Chief Marketing Officer  Align the strategy with that of the organization and other programs, maximizing effectiveness through collaboration
 Provide oversight and direction for design
 Manage creative agency and contractor relationships: design, content, public relations
 Guide thought leadership and story telling strategy, direction, and execution; collaborate with internal experts
 Oversee and steer organic and public relations social media strategy
 Integrate content programs with brand campaigns to drive brand engagement
 Support business retention and growth through integrated marketing initiatives and cross-divisional campaigns
 Innovate and offer new approaches for engaging NRC clients and prospects
 Network and keep abreast of trends, news, events, and deadlines, so that all possible, new or enhanced opportunities are explored

What You Bring to the Team:
 7 years of relevant work experience including B2B marketing (healthcare focus a plus)
 2+ years of experience directly managing others
 Excellent communication skills and an innovative, fresh perspective
 Strong conceptual abilities with proven strength in providing effective content feedback
 Editorial mindset that seeks to understand an audience and appropriately operationalize content
 Ability to provide design direction to maximize message clarity and impact
 Ability to operate professionally and effectively at all levels along with skills to facilitate, maintain, and manage good working relationships between associates, vendors, and business partners
 Discipline to set clear priorities between competing demands for resources and manage own tasks and priorities effectively
 Proven excellence with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint), and CRM experience
 Familiarity with social media platforms and best practices as well as Adobe Creative Suite programs
 Flexibility to fulfill minimal travel expectations
 BA/BS in Business, Marketing, or a related field
